KEREN CHRISTMAS

Abit about me…

I’m a busy mum of 3 little boys aged 4,6 and 9

When I’m not in my clinic we are at rugby or swimming or another sport they have decided to take up. My husband and I, along with our little guys live on a lifestyle block giving the kids endless days of hunting and fishing, living their best lives.

I have been a qualified beauty therapist for the last  23 years and in the pmu industry for the last 6.5 years.

My days are full with 3-4 pmu procedures a day, working around my children.

I absolutely love what I do and it doesn’t feel like work, that’s how I know I’m doing what I was born to do.

Waking up excited for your day ahead in your chosen work life is what it should be all about.

I specialise in soft powder brows, lip blushing, eyeliner, laser tattoo removal and areola tattooing. I only do treatments that I enjoy.

The last two years I have been training students in pmu, I was surprised at how much I absolutely loved this side of my business. Seeing a student grow in the industry is something I can’t get enough of.

I began training as I found that a lot of trainers these days are really failing their students, it’s sad to see so many struggle after spending so much money and learning absolutely nothing.

Colour theory, needle knowledge, mapping, skin anatomy, health and safety, the list goes on unfortunately. As trainers, some need to do better.

You see them have highs and lows as they work their way through dealing with difficult skin, finding their own style, making little mistakes (as they are only human like the rest of us) but you see them pick themselves up with your advice and reassurance and they are off to the next client with the determination and fire in their belly like they had once first qualified.

Highlights in my career is definitely seeing my students succeed and also offering complimentary treatments for those about to undergo chemotherapy, being able to help someone that’s about to go through one of the hardest times in their lives makes us think that our tough days really aren’t that bad in comparison.

Being able to help someone feel better with some soft powder brows while they lose their natural ones just makes sense to me.

I look forward to meeting you all
